DIAL has a strong, dedicated group of twelve committed volunteers that work between three and six hours per week. We are constantly trying to recruit volunteers as the numbers vary depending on the volunteers’ circumstances.
Many of our volunteers are long serving and an integral element of the organisation. Volunteers deal with the daily running of the helpline and advising clients on a one to one basis.
Their current responsibilities include administration duties surrounding the helpline including writing up forms and entering information on to the computer database. Many also help with fundraising activities, from raffles and collections to events like John Barons Fun Walk.
