WELCOME TO DIAL BASILDON & SOUTH ESSEX
DIAL is now re-open in our new premises at The Beehive in Grays.
DIAL is an information and advice helpline for disabled people and anybody with a problem connected to a disability issue. We will help people with benefit applications and challenging refused decisions, advice and advocacy with issues relating to aids, adaptations, community care, transport, financial problems, mobility - in fact anything that is bothering people. Our aim is to improve a persons quality of life and that of their carers and families.
DIAL now offers its service between 10am and 3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are closed to members of the public on Thursdays although we will answer telephone calls but cannot see people in person. People who want to drop in to see us will need to see the reception staff who will let us know you are there and one of our friendly staff or volunteers will come to see you. All contact numbers and emails remain the same and we can still be reached through links on this site. We are in the process of changing our name to DIAL South Essex and a new website is being created to reflect the areas that we cover. We hope to build a new outreach service in Basildon towards the end of the year as well as expanding through the Thurrock area and building partnerships with the groups there. Our new address is
